Our Story
As Greece emerges from economic hardship and the real estate industry heats up, we noticed a growing trend: middle-income earners are increasingly eager to invest in real estate and Airbnb ventures, riding the wave of tourism growth. However, the steep entry barrier—typically around €200,000—and the extensive know-how required seemed insurmountable for many. This sparked an idea in the minds of John and Kostas: what if a group could pool resources to meet the investment threshold and entrust a specialized company with the complexities of legal work, renovation, and management? This vision led to the creation of Jolliestate, introducing the concept of fractional investments to democratize real estate investment, making it accessible and hassle-free, and ensuring substantial returns for our investors.

John Souroupanis
Co-founder
John is a finance expert and real estate enthusiast with a PhD in Finance and Financial Econometrics from the University of Kent and an MSc in Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business. He currently serves as a Lecturer at Loughborough University, with prior roles as an Assistant Professor in Finance at the University of Groningen and various positions in the Greek public sector.
Over the past four years, Giannis has actively engaged in numerous real estate projects, achieving impressive returns and building a strong track record. He has completed several renovation projects and collaborated with buyers in both the Greek and international markets. His deep passion for real estate and finance inspired him to envision and co-found Jolliestate, where he applies his financial expertise to introduce innovative instruments aimed at revitalising a traditionally operated sector.
Kostas Saridakis
Co-founder
Kostas is a visionary entrepreneur with a strong engineering and business background from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), where he earned both his BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering, followed by an MSc with distinction in Engineering Business Management. His technical and strategic skills were honed at Deloitte before launching his consultancy in 2011, driving business innovation with his engineering insights.
His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found e-table.gr in 2014, which became Greece’s premier online restaurant reservation platform, later sold in 2019. Subsequently, he founded Collaborate Healthcare, a health-tech startup aimed at improving patient outcomes. In 2023, Kostas entered the real estate sector with his friend John, co-founding Jolliestate to make real estate investments accessible to middle-income earners, democratizing property investment to make it attainable for a broader audience
Leonidas Tsichritzis
Lead Architect and Renovation Manager
Leonidas is a skilled architect and wind microclimate consultant with a PhD in Architecture from the University of Kent. His research focused on the impact of urban morphology on pedestrian wind environments, and his interests include sustainable architecture and urban climate.
Leonidas has been self-employed as a wind microclimate consultant in London and as an architect in Athens since 2014. His consultancy role involves providing wind analyses to architects and planners, conducting CFD simulations, and making urban design recommendations. His architectural work ranges from residential to office projects, including detailed renovation plans.
In addition to his successful professional and academic pursuits, Leonidas has joined Jolliestate as the Lead Architect and renovation manager, where he is responsible for all architectural designs and renovation implementations, leveraging his expertise to enhance the company's real estate projects. His publications and dual registration as an architect in the UK and Greece underscore his extensive knowledge and capability in his field.
Anastasia Chroni
Senior Legal Advisor
Anastasia is a seasoned lawyer based in Athens, where she has successfully operated her own law office for the past 13 years, located at 69 Academias Street. She specializes in civil law disputes with a particular focus on real estate, banking, and insolvency law. Anastasia's extensive experience includes working with a diverse clientele in both judicial and advisory capacities. She has also served as an external associate for the largest financial institution in Greece for 12 years.
Anastasia completed her undergraduate studies at the Law School of the University of Athens in 2008 and furthered her expertise with an LLM in Business and Corporate Law from the University of London.
Recently, Anastasia has joined Jolliestate as the Chief Legal Advisor, where she is responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the company’s fractional investments, ensuring compliance and strategic legal guidance to facilitate accessible real estate investment opportunities.
